To better understand the UVILIZER Flip here is more about it below.
The UVILIZER Flip requires 4 AAA batteries to operate. When you first open the battery cover located at the bottom of the UVILIZER Flip it could be confusing as to what direction to insert each battery, because you only see springs on the inside initially. Once you open the battery cover, you will see a diagram inside the battery compartment on the left and right sides that explain the direction you should insert each battery into the UVILIZER Flip. Once all four AAA batteries are inserted correctly close the battery cover.
After you've inserted the batteries and closed the battery cover, to use the UVILIZER first flip it open to make the UV bulb visible. Once flipped open, slid the power switch located on the back of the UVILIZER upwards to power it on.
While the UV light is powered on you can now aim it at the surface area you would like to sterilize. We recommend aiming it about 1 to 2 inches away from the surface you would like to sanitize for about 10-15 seconds. Please do not aim the light at your skin or your eyes or anyone else's as well. Only aim the light at the object surface area you are attempting to sanitize.
The UVILIZER UV light kills up to 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and germs on all surfaces you aim it at.
Once you are done using the light, simply slide the power switch located on the back of the UVILIZER back down to turn off the light and flip it back down closed.
